Based at City Business Park in Plymouth, we provide services across branding, web design and development, content and print. We work with ambitious brands and businesses from across the UK on a diverse range of projects, from concept development, to delivery, across many sectors.

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to create new sales. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a track record of successful, credible lead follow-up and sales development experience at multiple executive levels within a small to medium sized organisation.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilise a consistent contact attempt process via phone and email to follow-up, nurture and qualify leads
  • Prospect, educate and qualify leads to create sales
  • Managing the sales lifecycle from lead and opportunities through to sales
  • Building relationships through face-to-face meetings, networking and telephone contact
  • Taking a consultative approach to selling
  • Writing proposal and tender responses
  • Working with the Marketing Manager to provide sales insight and lead follow up
What we are looking for:
  • 5 years proven B2B sales experience in a digital agency or technology sales role
  • Experience of the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing at Director level
  • Ability to identify qualified, prospective clients and develop loyal customer relationships via phone and face-to-face
  • Able to provide evidence of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Skilled at developing and qualifying leads to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and other lead generation opportunities
  • Professional, pro-active and tenacious attitude
  • Excellent communication skills to include pitching proposals
  • Excellent negotiating and closing skills
